Description: Model FSFD-STC is an acoustical coiling fire door.
Acoustical Fire Doors are available in both vertical and side coiling
designs. When used in pairs of doors the STC rating can reach up to 48.
System Advantages:
The Acoustical Fire Doors offer the design professional both fire protection
as well as sound reduction. These units utilize the Auto-Set® system and,
therefore, provide all of the Auto-Set® related benefits.
Design Alternatives:
Acoustical Fire Doors require less head room and side room than vertical
acting acoustical doors. They are also self-closing unlike operable walls
which, therefore, avoids duplication in construction. Rather than using an
Acoustical Door and a Fire Door, the design professional can simply use an
Acoustical Fire Door.
Applications:
Acoustical Fire Doors are utilized in schools, hospitals, sound stages,
convention centers and anywhere acoustics and fire protection are issues. |
