Description: The automatic resetting Safescape® S9000 Series
Fire Door Systems with built in emergency egress are side coiling fire door
systems that can be provided with one or two emergency egress doors on their
leading edge.
The S9000 Series Fire Door Systems are side activated which allows for the
doors to navigate around curves and contoured openings.

headroom and can be designed as bi-parting fire door systems allowing

electricity or battery back-up systems when they are activated in the
self-closing fire condition mode. |
Design Alternatives:
The S9000 Series Fire Door Systems eliminate the need for conventional type
construction which utilizes unsightly permanent door frames and swinging
doors. The conventional methods reduce the opening size and obstruct desired
sight lines.
Applications:
The S9000 Series Fire Door Systems are ideal for any application where
emergency egress is required and conventional swinging doors would not
provide an adequate design solution. Ideal applications are: cross-corridor
situations in schools or hospitals. They have been widely designed into
casinos, museums and retail spaces in area separations, occupancy
separations and elevator lobby separations.

Model S9000 Fire Door System is available without a floor track

Any interruption of the facility's power or the
activation of the fire alarm system, automatically triggers the
S9000's closing sequence. Within seconds the fail-safe system
uncoils the coiling curtain without the aide of electricity or
battery back-up systems. Creating the fire protection necessary for
the opening while still allowing for emergency egress. |
